Jocelyn Hynes is a singer songwriter from Cape Breton Island. Jocelyn began singing at a young age, and always knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. At 18 years old Jocelyn graduated high school and took a Bachelor of Music Therapy Degree at Acadia University. 

Upon her return to Cape Breton, Jocelyn began working with Sheldon Chant at HOF Records and released her first single “You’re Here” in 2023. 

2024-2025 Jocelyn began making a name for herself on the island, performing at the Cape Breton Music Hall Of Fame ceremony, Acoustic Roots Festival, Cape Breton Rising Stars at the Savoy Theatre, Christmas Daddies Telethon, and with the Cape Breton Orchestra. 

Jocelyn also released two National Singles during this time “Free To Be Me” and “Now The Bells Ring” (available on streaming platforms) 

Now in 2026 Jocelyn is very excited to be releasing an EP consisting of 6 songs, all original music. 

The first single off this album is “Last Call” and will be released at the end of May.
